What We Have that is important.
ALTAR SERVER:
After training, an altar server assists the celebrant at the altar during Sunday Mass. Open to all who have received First Holy Communion.
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTER OF HOLY COMMUNION:
After attending a training class, an extraordinary minister assists the priest in the distribution of the Eucharist during Holy Mass and may be asked to assist in serving the homebound. Open to all who have received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
READER:
After attending a training class, a reader proclaims the scriptures at liturgies.

SACRISTAN:
After receiving training, a sacristan prepares the altar and the church building for liturgical services.
Works closely with clergy and can require several hours of time depending on the liturgy.
